Let me help you reconnect and discover your joy of food and the pleasure it can bring without any guilt whatsoever.  I think about food 24 hours a day (yes, I even dream about it and my nickname is "Mrs Enthusiastic" about food)!  Imagine feeling happy, upbeat, positive with healthy glowing skin every day?  What if you could eat the most delicious food every day and never again feel guilty about food?  What if I told you that you could still eat chocolate, drink wine and enjoy a dessert after your dinner?   This is all part of a balanced, moderate approach to food and health - it can be your reality and, trust me, you will absolutely love the NEW YOU that comes from making small changes bit by bit.  This is when your natural self-confidence shines and you feel true to yourself.    I began studying nutrition when my 2 children were babies because I knew there had to be more to food than just great tasting flavours and I wanted to understand how food can help heal our bodies.

My passion is to empower women to transform their lives using nutrition and lifestyle to get their ZING back for life, feel fabulous every day and live the life they deserve to live.   These are women just like you who are fed up of feeling exhausted, overweight, run down or struggling with health issues for years but not knowing where to turn to for help.  I know how you feel because I've been there myself and worn the t-shirt many times around (I still have my own health issues which I struggle with).  You too can take back control of your body and health, lose those stubborn extra pounds, feel more energetic every day, less stressed and enjoy a great night's sleep even when lack of time, motivation or old habits seem to get in the way  (yes, even I lack motivation myself sometimes and need a kick up the bum)!  


I have seen first-hand how my clients have transformed their lives and health and feel more alive and happier than they have felt in years  Best of all, they feel fitter and more energetic to take whatever life throws at them just by making changes to their eating habits and implementing some lifestyle changes.  The saying "put your own oxygen mask on first" is so true. You can't help those around you if you don't help yourself first!

As a Chef for many years, I am hugely passionate about food and I have seen the effect that nourishing food has on health in my own family.  I'm a Mum to 2 teens myself so I understand about trying to put into place practical changes to your eating habits that suit the whole family with no need to cook separate meals.  My recipes are designed to suit the whole family - young and old and take family favourites and give them a tweak!


I live by the 80/20 rule myself (this approach to eating is all about balance and indulging without guilt which leads to a healthy relationship with food) and enjoy delicious food daily.  And yes, I love my red wine, dark chocolate and desserts also (I'm a trained pastry chef also)!  I have also had my own health issues over my lifetime and I know how frustrating it can be trying to find answers. 


I definitely don't believe in following eating patterns that are based on dieting and denying yourself - this takes all the pleasure and enjoyment out of eating and ultimately damages your self-confidence.  It's not much fun and isn't a recipe for success in the longer term.  There is a much simpler and better way of eating and one that the whole family, no matter what age, will enjoy with you.
