I know the usual plans for Halloween have changed this year. In our house, we decided we will do a Halloween party with the kids harking back to all the old favourites of dunking for apples, doughnuts on a string, pin the tail on the pumpkin (ok, so I made that one up..lol). I am going to bake some of our favourite treats to have on Saturday night including my homemade hot chocolate, banana pecan bread and chocolate flapjacks (if the kids can see past the sweets)! I love setting up picky food buffets for the family to enjoy. It might be a smaller gathering this year but no doubt, there will be just as much food eaten. What are you plans for Halloween night? Fireworks, toffee apples, buckets of chocolate and sweets or all of the above and a scary movie?
